Focus Delve is a paid, offline focus timer. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.
Summary
Focus Delve does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. The app has no account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no server. It does not request internet access.
What is stored, and where
Your progress is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage: focus sessions, task tags, XP, gold, level, quests, statistics, unlocked cosmetics and your settings. None of it is sent anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes it. Android's cloud backup is turned off for this app.
Backups you create
Settings includes an option to export a backup file and to restore from one. A backup is created only when you ask for it, and is saved where you choose. We never receive it. You are responsible for where you keep it.
Permissions
- Notifications: used only to remind you that a focus run has finished and to show the remaining time while the app is in the background. This is optional and can be turned off in Settings or in Android.
- Exact alarms: used only so the end-of-run reminder arrives on time.
- Vibration: used only for haptic feedback, and can be turned off in Settings.
The app does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or advertising ID.
Children
Focus Delve collects no data from anyone, including children.
Third parties
The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking code. Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not see your payment details.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same address with a new effective date.
